Tired of remembering passwords?
Now you can log in with just your face or fingerprint.

That's a passkey.

A Passkey is a Vault Inside Your Phone

Think of your phone as your house. A passkey is a vault inside that house.
Even if a thief breaks in, they can't open the vault. Only your face or fingerprint can unlock it.

Your Secret Never Leaves the Vault

Here's the cool part. The secret inside the vault never comes out.

Instead of sending the password, the vault signs things from the inside.
Like stamping a contract inside the vault and only sending out the stamped paper.

This vault is a physically separate space inside your phone. It's called Secure Enclave.
Even if hackers break into your phone, they'd need to break into this space separately.

What If You Lose Your Phone?

Let's be honest. Lose your phone, you might lose your vault too.

But there's a solution. You can back up the entire vault to the cloud.
Upload it encrypted to Apple or Google Cloud, and restore it on a new phone.

By the way, even Apple and Google can't open this vault. Only you can.
